These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Hire Credible’s website, platform, and services (the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Services
Hire Credible operates as a curated, invite-only professional network and managed engagement facilitator.
We are not a recruitment agency, employment agency, staffing firm, placement service, or Employer of Record (EOR).
Hire Credible:
- Does not employ freelancers
- Does not place individuals into employment
- Does not supply labor or manpower
Our role is limited to facilitating service-based engagements with independent professionals and providing operational, commercial, and delivery support.
2. Role of Hire Credible
Hire Credible provides:
- Access to an invite-only network of vetted independent freelancers
- Matching and introductions based on service requirements
- Engagement setup, contracts, invoicing, and payment administration
- Ongoing engagement oversight to reduce execution and delivery risk
All services are performed by independent freelancers under service agreements.
Hire Credible acts solely as a facilitation and managed-services intermediary.
Delivery Guarantee Clarification
Any reference to “delivery guaranteed” or similar language refers solely to engagement continuity, payment protection, and managed intervention. This may include replacement or transition support if an engagement fails.
It does not constitute a guarantee of project outcomes, business results, or freelancer performance.
3. Independent Contractors
All freelancers are independent contractors.
Nothing in these Terms creates:
- An employment relationship
- An agency relationship
- A partnership or joint venture
Freelancers remain solely responsible for their own:
- Taxes and statutory obligations
- Insurance and licensing
- Work methods, tools, and schedules
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete project requirements
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes
- Pay all agreed fees in accordance with issued invoices
- Refrain from bypassing Hire Credible for introduced engagements
5. Freelancer Responsibilities
Freelancers agree to:
- Provide services professionally and in good faith
- Maintain accurate profile and service information
- Comply with applicable laws and contractual obligations
- Deliver services in accordance with agreed scopes and timelines
6. Fees, Rates, and Payments
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Clients contract with and make payments to Hire Credible
- Hire Credible invoices clients for agreed services
- Hire Credible compensates freelancers for services rendered
Freelancer rates are agreed as part of each engagement.
Hire Credible does not impose profile placement costs, bidding fees, or platform markups on freelancer rates.
Hire Credible may charge clients fees for managed services, administration, or payment facilitation, where applicable. All fees are disclosed prior to engagement.
7. No Guarantee
Hire Credible does not guarantee:
- Freelancer availability
- Project success or outcomes
- Continuous engagements
- Business or financial results
Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
8. Disputes and Engagement Issues
Hire Credible provides structured support if engagement issues arise, including disengagement, non-performance, or payment disputes.
Hire Credible does not act as an arbitrator unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Resolution methods may include mediation, transition support, or engagement termination in accordance with applicable agreements.
9. Intellectual Property
Each party retains ownership of its respective intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Project-specific intellectual property terms are governed by individual service agreements.
10. Confidentiality
All parties agree to keep confidential information private and use it only for permitted purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hire Credible shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Hire Credible’s total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to Hire Credible in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hire Credible from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of applicable laws
13. Termination
Hire Credible may suspend or terminate access at any time due to:
- Breach of these Terms
- Misuse of the Services
- Legal, compliance, or risk concerns
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Changes to These Terms
Hire Credible may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
